Signed and Numbered prints |
Mini-Prints
are basically small open-edition (signed, but not
numbered) prints. They are printed on high-quality matte paper using the same
pigmented inks as my signed & numbered prints.
They cost a lot less because:
 |
1. The paper is smaller and less expensive
2. They're not limited to an edition size
3. I print them myself
4. I just wanted them that way! |
Also, some of these images are not available in any other form of print. A few of them are reproductions of prints that were published years ago as large offset lithographic prints (that are no longer available), and a bunch of them are mini-print versions of newer paintings that also have been reproduced as full-size signed & numbered prints.
Open-Edition
prints are not limited to an edition
size (just like the mini-prints) so I can sell
them for a lower price. I have two different types
of Open Edition prints:
1. Offset Lithographic [explanation]
2. Pigmented Ink (Pigmented Archival
or "giclee")[explanation] |
|
These are my very best prints-they are all printed using archival pigmented inks on thick, 100% cotton paper, or they're printed on artist-quality canvas..
Current lightfast testing estimates that they will not fade for 80 years or more! All of the edition sizes are 195 or less. Once I sign the last print in the edition, I'll never print them again.
If you're looking for a true collector's item, these are the prints to buy.
Because I own my own printing equipment I sell these prints for less money than a lot of other artists and publishers charge; often, my prices are two or three times less! It's an "eliminate the middle-man" approach.

Enjoy! |
