Open-Edition Prints are not limited to an edition size so I can sell them for a lower price. They are printed on good-quality matte paper using the same pigmented inks as my signed & numbered prints. They cost a lot less because:

1.) They're smaller and use less ink and paper, and...

2.) I just wanted them to cost less-everyone wants a  bargain now and then!

There are two catagories of Open-edition prints

1. Offset Lithographic [explanation] These are printed by a large printing company in bulk.
2. Pigmented Ink (Pigmented Archival or "giclee")[explanation] These are printed by me! Most of my Open-edition prints are giclees.

Signed & Numbered Limited-Edition Prints

These are my very best (and largest) prints-they are all printed using archival pigmented inks on thick, 100% cotton paper, or they're printed on artist-quality canvas..

Current lightfast testing estimates that they will not fade for 80 years or more! All of the edition sizes are 195 or less. Once I sign the last print in the edition, I'll never print them again.
