"Lion"
"This is a painting of one of the two famous lion sculptures in front of the Chicago Art Institute. I have fond memories of going to this museum as a kid, and I still love going there. If you've never been there (and you live within 3 of 4 hours or less), put it on your schedule this year! Early on a Spring morning (the same day I photographed the "bean"), I found this unusual scene: the sun was bouncing off the many windows on the buildings across the street, creating this wonderful dappled light.
